What is your mushroom shelf made of?

Our Berry Mushroom Wall Shelf is made from PLA (polylactic acid), a bioplastic made from corn starch.

What makes our process special:

• Every shelf is made in our small Claremont studio in America — no overseas mass production, just real handwork. Made in USA.
• After printing, every piece is sanded by hand and checked for quality. Small differences in the surface are intentional — they come from finishing by hand.
• PLA is sturdy and durable — your mushroom shelf holds small books, plants, and decor with ease.
• Easy care: just wipe with a damp cloth. No special cleaners needed.

Note: PLA is splash-resistant but not suitable for wet areas (showers) or outdoor use. Don't put it in the dishwasher or clean it with hot water, because PLA can soften at temperatures above 140 °F (60 °C).

Mounting — it's that easy:

Here's how:

1. Mark the position on the wall — the bracket serves as a template.
2. Drill two holes and insert the anchors.
3. Screw on the invisible bracket.
4. Slide the Berry Mushroom shelf onto the bracket — done!

Important: Please always use screws. Adhesive pads and mounting glue can't carry the load of a filled shelf — screws and wall anchors are included.

Pro tip: Hang shelves in different sizes slightly offset — like mushrooms growing naturally on a tree trunk. A group of 3 mushrooms (XL + M + M) is the absolute eye-catcher!

Isn't the Berry Mushroom too childish for my living room?

Many of our customers thought so — until they had it on the wall! In elegant colors like Black, White, or Beige, the Berry Mushroom looks surprisingly modern and stylish. Above the sofa, next to the bookcase, or as a plant shelf in the hallway — it blends seamlessly into grown-up interiors. The playful colors (Pink-Black, Blue-Green) are perfect for kids' rooms. So you get to choose: elegant or playful — but never boring.

How much weight does each shelf hold?

Each shelf is made for light decor:

• Size M: great for candles, small plants, and decor objects
• Size L: holds small books, picture frames, and small plants
• Size XL: room for several decor pieces — up to ~2 lbs / 1 kg per shelf

Mounted with the included screws and wall anchors, the shelf holds securely. Many of our customers use it as a plant shelf.

How do I attach the decorative wall shelf to the wall?

It's super easy! It takes at most 2 minutes: hold the bracket up as a template, drill two holes, insert anchors, screw on the bracket, slide on the shelf — done.
